The Wizard Nebula is a faint nebula that requires lots of exposures and possibly a filter to see. It surrounds a young cluster of stars.

A Wizard, closely. This is a zoom on the 'upper torso' of the larger NGC7380 nebula, or 'the Wizard Nebula.' Shot at 1645mm using the Optolong L-eXtreme filter.
Clear skies provided the opportunity to finally image a target that's been blocked by trees most of this year. I was able to image all night, but despite the warmer weather I lost some time due to dew forming on my lens (I was lazy and didn't set up the dew heater). This is the Wizard Nebula and you can probably tell why. Imaged mainly in Hydrogen alpha with a few broadband captures for stars.
