h Persei Cluster
The double cluster is the beautiful pair of NGC869 (h Persei) and NGC884 (χ (chi) Persei), containing over 300 blue-white super-giant s and a scattering of red super-giants. The cluster is also blue shifted as it inches its way 24 miles closer to earth every second. It is visible to the naked eye and lurks near the distinct W of Cassipeia.
A bright and colorful grouping of two clusters that span a section of the sky twice the size of a full moon.
