Along the edge of shadow splitting the moon from north to south is a line of magnificent craters. Large and left is Manganus. Top middle is the large Deslandres, pounded by several other craters that have deformed its shape. The pair of almost perfect circles to the right with peaks in the middle are Arzachel and Alphonsus.
