Captain's log, star date 739.104 (August 5, 2024 earth time). Solar cycle 25 remains active. Attached are visual observations for verification and archival. Active regions include AR3780 and AR3781. The latter produced an M5.5 class solar flare before it rotated into view on the visible side.
