Copernicus is a prominent crater easily visible at a distance due to the bright ejecta radiating from the center of impact. The interior is marked by distinctive peaks and the rim has collapsed and eroded in sections. The the right, Kepler is surrounded by rays that extend 500km across the lunar surface.
